To Sean and family , Our thoughts are with you upon hearing the news about George . I will always remember the debates he had with Aidan how they were going to save the country.... Always in his shorts and his jolly laugh... We have a tradition in our family that your not a man until you can lift the concrete lion that George made in Stratford ! Unfortunately we cannot attend the funeral as we are travelling overseas but rest assured we will have a Guinness or two in his memory... Heartfelt blessings Colm and family

George was one of Life’s characters, a positive influence who instilled in young men the benefits of hard work and self accountability. My earliest work life experience in Stratford was better for knowing George and his laugh across the Stratford Hotel on a Thursday after work will never be forgotten. Condolences to all the family and those closest.
To Sean and family please accept my sincere condolences It used to be good catching up with George at the recycling yard regularly
