⸻ Uncle Paul not only were you a friend, uncle, mentor—you were also generous and loving in every way. Years ago, Uncle Paul took me in and watched over me at a time in my life when I needed it most. For this, I will be forever grateful. We shared many fond memories and experiences with his family and mine—so many laughs along the way. Like the time you and Aunty T babysat the kids and somehow decided it was fine for our nine-year-old son to watch Team America… a story we’ve retold countless times. And I’ll never forget the ice hockey game in Wellington that never actually happened, even if we still managed to make the newspaper. You will be missed, Uncle Paul—more than words can say. Much love, Kirsty,Michel, Brad and Ashleigh xo
