I didn’t know Hannah very well, but because I’m a busybody snoop and have a teenage boy who doesn’t tell me fun stuff like who he likes, I had to slyly figure things out. Luca, I found out, had a crush on a beautiful girl with dark hair called Hannah about three years ago. I didn’t know much, but I’d catch glimpses from time to time when she came to our house to visit. From what I managed to glean, she was kind, funny, beautiful, and mischievous. I know Luca wouldn’t mind me saying that he is devastated she isn’t here lighting up lives right now. She embodied the saying “the greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” She did that simply by being herself. You sound like someone who made the ordinary feel extraordinary. I hope we all go through life like you, Hannah. I wish we had longer to learn and live that with you, and for you to have that. We will never forget that lesson. You will light us always.
