CALLINICOS, John – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 11th November 2025, at Poneke House, aged 86 years.
Dearly loved husband of the late Diamando.
Loving father and father-in-law Vienna, George & Katrina, Bobby and Lisa, and their families.
Special thanks to the staff of Poneke House for their care and support of John.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral may be left at the service.
Friends and family are welcome to offer their condolences at Bobby & Lisa's home on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm.
A service for John will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Saturday 15th November at 10:00am thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.

John will always be remembered as the polite, quiet man standing behind the candles at church. I always think of him when we take a candle and he’s not there. John gave a lot of his time to the community and the church and I’m sure that his respectful demeanor will be missed by many. May he rest in peace. Condolences to the family.
