Dean, Kenneth, Stuart & Families Very sorry to learn of your Mum's passing. Another great Stratford identity lost to the town. She will always be remembered for her gardens. Reunited with your Dad. Warmest Regards Lynne Wisnewski ( Thompson )

In Shirleys lovely book “I am in the garden” she wrote “I learnt that the gift of a bunch of flowers, however humble the offering, brings joy to giver and receiver.” She gave joy to all who knew her. I will always remember her kindness to our sons Beren and Justin when ever we visited. Derek loved seeing the beautiful display’s of flowers which he spent time photographing over the years. The community has lost one of its treasured gardeners. Heart felt condolences. Anne Bayliss Derek Hughes Beren and Jay

To my cousins (The Boys) and their families. You have lost your dearly loved mum, someone who loved you all unconditionally and was so very proud of the men you became. Family and gardening were Shirley's love and bought joy to her every day. Thank you for sharing your gardening knowledge with me. I will miss our chats. Rest now in God's garden
