It was hard for me to hear that Gutti my childhood friend from Patró had passed away. I knew how sick he was but hoped all the time something wolud help him. I´m so sad but also grateful that i got the change to have had a good long video call with Gutti last month. Thanks for everything my frend, we will meet later. Dear Vivienne and famely in NZ and Iceland my deepest heartfelt condolence on this day, may God keep and strengthen you to day and for ever. Your frend Halli á símstöðinni.

Rest in peace Gutti. I will cherish the memories I have of you. I remember many years ago when Impulse ⁣would rehearse at Dads house, and if I was behaving, I was allowed to go down to the basement and listen. Then, years later I would join you at the NP club and cover for Brett on drums, and then play alongside you with the NPOS show of Oliver. It was a pleasure to make music with you. The best bassist a drummer could ask for. Massive love to the family.

I'm very sad to hear about Gutti, I'm actually just lost for words, i was very glad that we were able to catch up over Christmas while we were in NZ and never did i think that this would be the last time we saw Gutti, he was so happy and cheerful. I will treasure the memories from our reunions with the boys from New Plymouth playing their guitars. Also the times we wisited you in NP. Dear Viv and family, i send you all the best wishes from me and my family in Iceland, ( Vikingland). Gutti was a true Viking and will be missed among many. Hrafnkell Hannesson.

Dear Viv and co We are all so sad that Gutti has left us. He had the best sense of humour and laugh to match, you couldn't help but be happy around him. I still remember being amazed at how he "blew" up his biceps. Just one of many tricks he had. Gutti, our little Emme knew you as afi Gutti, something I knew made you smile. You will be missed greatly. From Matt, Kendall, Emme and Willa
