Carol and whanua, It was with much sadness I heard of Chadys passing. We shared a love of sport, socialising and gambling. He was well respected for his values and gentle manner and will bed sadly missed. Fred McLay

I am so sad to hear of Brians passing. Many a happy hour was spent in his company on the fairways and greens of Fitzroy Golf Club. He was a top bloke. My condolences to Carol and the rest of Brians family.

Murray and I were very saddened to hear the news of Chardy's passing. Murray and Brian knew each other very well through all their sporting activities, many a battle on the tennis and squash courts took place. To Carol,Scott, and family, We are sadly shocked at Chardys sudden departure. We spent many great years in Cook and Listers together giving purchasers every piece of our sporting knowledge. I will miss our catch ups on Fillis Street as Brian exercised his wobbly body. We had some great laughs together. We will all miss him. The Burmester Family.

Dear Carol If there is anything we can do to help you during your time of grief we are here. Brian was a good neighbour and many memories were evoked when we read his obituary.
