To the McBrides please accept my condolences, Annie will be greatly missed. Annie was a big part of our early life on Duthie Rd, she had a sharp wit and intelligence, with an infectious laugh. She was a gifted story teller, and a mine of information and family history. She taught us the music of opera and theatre at school, things we didn’t get exposed to in Kaponga, but are still with me today. She was special to all of us and will remain so.
A dearly loved and respected auntie who had style, grace and charisma as well as a great sense of humour. Sorry I can't be at the funeral but my thoughts will be with you all on the day. Love, Moira
John & Philippa, Owen & Liesje and families, Sincere condolences on the passing of a very special lady. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. May she Rest in Peace.
To Owen and family and Jo and family I was sad to read of the passing of your Mum. We enjoyed many chats together at the Hawera races, quite a character. Thinking of you at this time, Warmest Regards Kayvon Smart
