Jim & Gwen have invited us in their Home in 1990, when we travelled NZ as a young couple. We have spent a great time with them with a lot of interesting talking and laughter. In 2002 we visited them again together with our children, Michael & Simona, they too, enjoyed very much their wit and wisdom. Once a year, we wrote each other to keep each other up with all the news at the other end of the world. We will keep Gwen in our loving memory, remembering her as a great person with a great sense of humor and a very warm heart. We will never forget you. Love from us all, Monika, Peter, Michael & Simona from Oberrieden, Switzerland

The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence. Gwen and Jim gave these gifts freely. Gwen certainly leaves this life knowing you all have wings. Gwen was always ready for a lovely chat and ready smile. Blessings to the Reid Team today. Love and good thoughts to you all. Sherree.
Gwen and Jim were spoken about a very highly in our house when growing up. My mum and dad worked for them when i was a baby. (Raewyn and Jim Adlam) even since mum and dads passing i often think of the nice things they would say about them. Please accepted my deepest condolences to the family and know these are sent with much loving thoughts of a special lady.
