PIERCE Trevor Richard

It is with great sadness that we advise that Trevor died peacefully at Te Rangimarie Hospice with family at his side on Friday 1 June 2018.

He was a very dearly loved son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.  He was much loved by his wife Sue, son Simon and special daughter, Puti Fay Wotton. Cherished Dad #2 of Zhidan, and Danny (currently in the USA) and proud ‘Grandpa’ of Ruby and Maisie.

His extended family wish to thank all those involved in any way in his care at Taranaki Base Hospital and Hospice.  The care and compassion from so many was hugely appreciated by Trevor and helped us all through a particularly challenging few months.  In recognition of this donations to Hospice Taranaki would be welcomed in preference to flowers and may be left at the service.  Messages to the Pierce family may be left online at www.eagars.co.nz or to C/- Eagars Funerals, PO Box 75, Stratford 4352.

Trevor’s life will be celebrated with a funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 23 Standish Street, Inglewood on Wednesday 6 June 2018 at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
