Smooth lines and tight curves.. Fly high Gilly.
Our condolences to the Gilmour family. To Cheyenne and Brodie, your Dad was so proud of you both. We, and Margaret and Rex were Gilly's neighbours for almost 30 years. We will miss him when we are in Stratford, always a smile and a hello. We did not see him on our last visit and we were unaware that he was ill. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Marie and Gordon, Hunua.

I haven't seen Gilly for very many years....but he was hardly ever forgotten. Anyone who knew Gilly will know what I mean. I still have these Gilly moments. Long may that continue. We were all good mates in our early days, with him and Starky cutting scrub in the back country. Feeding out on Brookes Road, and the possums. Yup, and I got to ride on that same 50cc bike coming in from Whanga. RIP old mate. Best of the best :-)
Sending condolences and thought to the Gilmour family at the lost of thier youngest brother Gerard Dianne and Mark Johnson
That cheeky smile u new a good time was coming, Mr puniverse ur a legend going to miss u brother so many good memories, my condolences to family
Condolences to the Gilmore Family for Gilly passing, haven’t seen him in a few years but he was always a pleasant guy to talk to and catch up on the Stratford gossip.
I 1st remember Gilly from when he moved to Brookes Road Stratford & we were at St Josephs .....had some good laughs trying to catch possums and learnt to ride that Suzuki 50CC motorbike......as teenagers & later adults we partied together & Gilly could keep up with the best of them......the thing that always came to my mind with Gerard is no one had a bad word to say about him......He was just such a beautiful person and gone way to young.Thinking of the family at this sad time, Ross Kretschmar
