Today we said goodbye to a man whose presence brought warmth, and strength to every gathering. He was more than just my friend’s father — he was part of the fabric of so many shared family gatherings and memories. His legacy lives on in the love he poured into his family, the values he stood for, and the countless moments he helped create. He leaves behind not only sorrow, but deep gratitude — for his life, his influence, and his example. To my dear friend and your family — I grieve with you, and I honour him with you. May you find comfort in each other, and peace in knowing how deeply he was loved. Who is now going to fix everything? It was lovely being able to join you online - thank you.

I'm going to miss you so much dad. The texts that started with 'Hi love' and the deep conversations about anything and everything. You challenged us to be a better version of ourselves. I hope you are reunited with Faye and all of the family and friends who have left here ahead of you and that the reunion party is magnificent. A life well lived <3
