McCARTNEY, Sally Joanna. On Thursday, July 3, 2025, at O’Conor Home, Westport. Aged 66 Years. Much loved partner of Lockey Mundy, loved mother and mother in law of Sarah and Josh, and Glen and Vicky, loved Grandma to Freddie, and Frankie, loved sister of Robyn and Dave, Tim and Marijke, Chris and Niddi, Tony and Gill, and Liz and Kev, and aunty of Paul, Glenn, Chris, Jeremy, Amy, Rachel, Hannah, Fiona, Hamish, Alex, Cory, and Jamie. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at O’Conor Home. A Celebration of Sally’s life will be held at the FW Hagedorn Memorial Chapel, 123 Derby Street, Westport, on Monday, July 7, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Orowaiti Cemetery. We are both so sorry to hear of Sallys passing.She will be remembered as a very kind and fun loving lady. I will miss her chats on the bus coming home from Christchurch. Taken far to soon. Wayne & Lynda.
Hold close to your heart the memories of a beautiful soul. She always has a smile and a hug when she saw you and even though she started slowly leaving before her time, her light will shine on. Deepest sympathy to all that loved her and was loved by her.
Fond memories of Sally working at Leithfield school as a teacher aide in my classroom. Always happy and bubbly. RIP Sally Deepest sympathy to everyone.
