To Margaret, Stella & Vanessa, also remembering your late brother Andrew.Our Families Sympathy is extended to you in the call of Geoffrey to his Eternal home.A very wise and humble man of God.A man of encouragement, and wisdom behind the scenes of life.Many a time was spent with Margaret and Geoffrey over a cuppa when they lived in Eltham discussing the garden and many aspects of christian living especially in the present day. Geoffrey was an absolute Blessing to me and the congregation, as he and I shared the preaching and running of St Mark's Coperating Church in Eltham before it eventually closed. He was always ready and willing to offer his support and wisdom to the furtherance of God's Kingdom.He always reminded me of a Patriarchal Saint with his long beard and now he is, as 1st Corinthians ch 1 v 2 says .Christians are called to be Saints. His Lord and Master has now called Geoffrey home to His presence to be forever with the Lord for all Eternity. I will always treasure the memories of this quietly spoken man of God, the time spent with him and the help and support he gave myself and our Family and those in the Parish.May God be your Strength, Peace,and Comfort in the loss of a much Loved Husband and Dad ,with much Love, Lindsay, Anita and Daughter Elizabeth Maindonald, Eltham.
