Tributes

Dear Friends, As we gather here today to honor the memory of our dear friend Gerhard, I want to take a moment to reflect on the impact he had on our lives over the past years. Gerhard was a great friend and Lizzie's father; he was a kind and interesting soul who brought joy to those around him. I fondly remember the wonderful meals we shared, filled with laughter and meaningful conversations. Those moments are treasures I will hold close to my heart. In honor of Gerhard's generous spirit, I have made a donation to the International Red Cross on his behalf. I believe this is a fitting tribute to a man who cared deeply for others and sought to make the world a better place. As we say goodbye to Gerhard, let us carry forward his kindness and warmth in our own lives. My heart is heavy and sad at his passing, but I find comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the memories we share. Thank you,,,,, Annette Lovelace London UK

So sorry to hear of Gerhards passing. Dad, Roy considered him his best buddy. They bonded early on the slopes of Ruapehu and spent many holidays together up in Skyline or down the Sounds. Words can't describe what a wonderful caring man he was. We all adored him. You will miss him very much but hopefully you will see his goodness shine through in your children. Much love to you all. RIP Gerty.
