With heartfelt sympathy to all the whānau on the passing of your beloved Yvonne. Our thoughts are with you all. From the team at Cancer Society Nelson Tasman.
My heart is heavy with hearing this news. My eyes are filled with tears when Yvonne comes to mind, which has been often leading up to her death and even more so since her passing. I have know Yvonne from netball days when a group of country chick's hit the netball courts. Her bus driving days, taking my daughter to school and her always asking how Em was doing growing up. Yvonnes kind and caring connection with my parent's, be it under her care or as a family well know to ours. I remember watching Yvonne take on her studies and the achievements and mana she held in her Reflexology inspires me to this day. She will be remembered dearly within my heart ❤️ and I will be reminded of her as I now drive her grandchildren to school. RiP Yvonne you strong courageous women 🙏
My heart breaks for all my whanau down home. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, Yvonne was a special lady and so fun and vibrant! Her personality shines and lives on through my cuzzies and their tamariki ❤️ Ko te utu o te aroha, ko te mamae, ka aroha hoki. -Grief is the price we pay for love, Sending love and condolences - Aroha tino nui Jacs Granddaughter of Ngaire (Pat) and Len Harvey. Watching from Auckland, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person xx
Our deepest condolences to you Gordon and your family for the passing of Yvonne. There are no words to express the loss of such a loved parent, wife, nana, sister and friend, but kind words and healing energy all help when sent your way on the wings of angels. Yvonne was a passionate Reflexologist and did great work in our community. x
Sending love and healing to you Gordon and family. Yvonne's passion for healing and especially Reflexology will ripple for many years to come. Her dedication and support to Reflexology New Zealand was ever lasting and I am glad I worked with Yvonne over the last 12 years on and off. We got to spend time both in Beachlands and in Nelson to share and connect more. Laughing , frustrations, loving life and getting the job done! Yvonne was all in. I will miss her, and she will always have a place in my heart. World Reflexology Week will always have her wee voice in the background saying "What are you going to do? " and I will always do something and think of her. You have two trees coming from the Reflexology groups and at my side in Waikato - Yvonne will have her own tree planted where I can catch up with her there. Much love and healing - keep the colour going! Karen PB x
Sending my love and condolences to Gordon and family. Yvonne was a friend from way back then, and we had rekindled in recent years. She was a lovely person and I really enjoyed my chats with her. You will all miss her greatly, I am so very glad you were able to enjoy your family island getaway together. Creating and keeping memories are so important. Hold them close to your hearts as you forever remember your beautiful wife, mother and grandmother xx
Our thoughts are with you Gordon and your family, we were very sad to hear your news but will always have pleasant memories of caravan and campervan visits both here in Australia and NZ. We will always remember finding her a book on learning golf in the Mt Barker opp shop, it was such a small and simple thing but has stayed with us so because it was received with such a wonderful and genuine smile. I’ don’t think it helped her golf but she would have laughed at that nonetheless. A simple memory that I trust you don’t mind me sharing. Our sincere condolences to you all. Steve and Claire Huggins
From the Nelson Reflexology Group Yvonne revived the group after she qualified. She also joined Reflexology New Zealand, became president twice! Yvonne shook things up and got things moving. She encouraged, supported all members, and was happy and willing to share her knowledge. Loved a good story, and a laugh. Conferences were always fun. She cared deeply about her clients, and would go the extra mile for them. When she wasn't attending to family or her own clients she was available to give advise and time when her colleagues needed it! Doing groups events was fun. Her sense of humour helped keep many situations sane. Yvonnes drive and enthusiasm spurred us all on. She remained enthusiastic till the end. Never faltering with her support and encouragement. 'She was very passionate with everything she did and was very caring with everyone she met' She will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to Gordon and their family at this time. Yvonne's special warmth and kindness, her caring -her sense of humor and amazing positive spirit were all a huge part of my Mum regaining good health after a stroke and helping my Mum come to life again. Yvonne became a very special friend to both Mum and I -we loved seeing Yvonne thrive with her wonderful wee business... hearing her news of her beloved family and the wonderful adventures. Yvonne's passion for life was contagious -always an inspiration. A wonderful special friend -a person of integrity -loyal Even as a busy woman, Yvonne would always make time for others and sense their needs. Positive and uplifting -sharing Yvonne's sense of humor was just -Fab!! ... A gutsy gal who loved her family -loved her golf -loved her life and all who were part of it. xox Yvonne -you will remain always in my heart dear girl! I am so grateful for our friendship -knowing you and sharing your path -you will not be forgotten. Rest in peace dear friend -you have done amazing!!

Sympathies to the family. Have known Yvonne through Reflexology and have met her many times at conferences over the years and also worked with her on council. She had great knowledge and skill and I will miss her. Her memory will live on particularly through World Reflexology Week as that was always a passion with her. I have a wee video clip of her from a conference event one year in Auckland Parnell 2020 which you may wish to have. Can send you a link if you are interested
