Katie, you were taken far too soon. But your fire, your laugh, your drive—that will never be forgotten. You made us proud every single day, and your memory will race on in all of us.

Rest easy, beautiful girl. We'll see you at the finish line.

Moe mai rā e Ko, hoki ki ngā mātua tūpuna kua wehe, haere, haere, hoki atu.

Tributes

Ka Aroha to you both and your extended whanau. Words cannot express the loss you are all feeling at this time, taken way to soon. I was working with Katie in the Learning Support space and was the one who discovered she had Dyslexia, that is my connection to Katie. Such a beautiful young lady. Katie had done a piece of writing for me as part of the assessment and it was all about her Drag Racing and her Dad. Very special to read. Ngā mihi aroha Sheryl Brown PS I've been trying to get onto the live stream without success.
