10 May 1922 - 6 July 2025. It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Doug, aged 103 years old. Beloved husband to the late Margaret, loved father to Doug and the late Ann, treasured grandfather to Wayne, Lee, Bruce, and Wendy and a proud great- grandfather to his great- grandchildren. Doug was the last surviving member of the 27th Machine Gunners Battalion, a true gentleman and a legend. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and enduring positivity. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Central Park Chapel, Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson on Friday 11 July at 11am.
