Today our family lost the most amazing Dad, grandad , father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend. He parted this world after his battle with the big C I’m at a loss of how to put into words what my Dad has meant to me. We all have that special moment that we hold dear to our hearts, one of mine is walking into the house thinking the radio wasn’t tuned in and hearing white noise and then realizing that he was listening to a train record. He has always told people of how proud he is of his boys, he was my mentor, my guiding light, my beacon. Pops I will miss you more than you will ever know but comforted to know you are no longer in pain or discomfort but at eternal peace by your son‘s side probably leaning against a bar having a beer and putting the world to rights , Love Always your Son Bacon Rest in peace and shine on you Diamond.
When we were young he was Big Brother and always ready to help Little Brother. As we got older into teenage years we shared many interests and got even closer together. Although he was living on the other side of the World with his family in New Zealand we talked every week by video link to keep each other up to date on all family news. I will miss bPBig Brotheer very, very much.❤️ Colin always ended our chats by saying ‘ It goes without saying that everyone here sends their regards. Sending love and hugs ❤️ ..
The day that we never wanted to see is upon us and we say goodbye to our dear old dad. He made us the men we are today and his pride in us was always written on his face when with us. We'll keep making you proud to honor your memory, and hope that you are now, at last, having a beer with Andy and watching over us. Love you Dad
