GIBSON, Irene.
Born 20 October 1928, passed away peacefully at Lady Allum with family at her side on 3 July 2025. She will now join George her husband of 72 years who passed away two years ago. Loved and respected mother and mother- in-law of Bruce (deceased), John and Lynette, Allan and Mary, Heather and Ross (Thurlow).Treasured grandma to 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Irene was a life member of the Lynndale Harrier Club. She will be missed by many. A celebration of Irene's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dils Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Friday 11 July at 10.30am.

On behalf of East Coast Bays Walkers our deepest sympathy to the Gibson family today as they farewell Irene. Irene was a Life Member & joined the walking group in the early 1990s just after it formed at the age of 65. Over the years Irene has been an inspiration to all with her caring nature, energy, fitness & enthusiasm. Her devotion to George & her family was exemplary. Irene will be missed but not forgotten by all her walking friends. Rest in Peace dear Irene
