Bob passed away peacefully on Tuesday 8 July 2025 aged 85, with his wife Lynda by his side. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Lynda for 53 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Mark, Phillip and Keely, Lisa and Alan, Greg and Allaine. Adored Pops of Ashley, Tash, Krissy, Mitch, Matt, Alyssa, Bella and Great Pops of Eva.

A huge thanks to the staff at Edmund Hillary SCU for their wonderful care and attention. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on Thursday 17 July 2025 at 12 noon at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia NZ would be appreciated
