Rest in peace uncle Peter you will be missed. What a amazing person always happy and friendly my prayers are with you and your family in New Zealand and south Africa
Peter had an affable personality which found people almost inevitably drawn to him, drawn to his joy and happiness in a way that it might miraculously rub off on you. His love of loud music and sing alongs once made a road trip from Jhb to Cape town feel like short trip to a neighbouring suburb. I fondly remember his sheer joy of being in the karoo that he suddenly and without warning started dancing on the side of the highway. Uncle pete had an uncanny ability of always making you feel that everything would be ok and turn out just fine, he made you feel that life is there to be enjoyed and that life shouldnt be taken too seriously. Chris de Agrella
Peter were were so lucky to meet you when you at our home when you went to Enfanta and at David and Lindi’s wedding. You were always so happy, smiley and warm. Our condolences to the whole de Agrella family. M.H.D.S.R.I.P.
Uncle Peter was the most magnanimous person I know. He always wanted to make others happy. He always had a smile on his face and never took himself too seriously. I look back and remember with fondness the competitive games of FIFA we played on the PlayStation which tended to be loud and excitable matches especially when I was on the receiving end of Uncle Pete’s goals. Some of the best Saturday mornings were with Uncle Pete watching the Springboks play the All Blacks. The screams and shouts from Uncle Pete could be heard throughout Fishers Hill. Lindi and I will cherish the time we spent on our Roadtrip with you to Cape Infanta and are so grateful that you were able to be with us on our wedding day. You really did make the occasion very special for us with the way you smiled, danced and had a great time - the way only you knew how to! Uncle Pete, you will be sorely missed and may your soul Rest in Peace! David, Lindi & Callum

Dear Peter Taken away from us so suddenly. A rare and special person, a brother and best friend, who always saw good in people. We will miss those special and wonderful times together, those sparkling beautiful blue eyes and your big warm smile. You were a breath of fresh air, invigorating and giving life to everyone who knew you. We know that you are now in a better place where peace and love abound.. You will be forever in our hearts and not a day will pass when we shall not think of and miss you. Mark & Elaine “Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d, Few heads with knowledge so inform’d; If there is another world, he lives in bliss; If there is none, he made the best of this.” - Poem by Robert Burns
Dearest Pete Thank you for being my brother. You were something special bringing joy and laughter to everyone you met. You had qualities that a difficult to find in people today such as dignity, senses of duty, decency. You worked hard to achieve your goals in life. Shine bright like a diamond until we meet again. Mary.
When first meeting Peter, one was always met with a huge genuine smile, friendly words and heartfelt laughter. He was really a gentle, caring person who loved family and friends. He loved nothing more than ‘cooking up a storm’ and eating with loved ones! Sadly his life has come to an end, but his memory will always be remembered and will remain with me ! Rest in Peace with your heavenly Father.

When my children first saw you, they called you Santa and I can't think of a better was to describe you uncle Pete. Always happy and laughing and selflessly giving 100% of yourself to everybody.
