"NICHOLSON Ross Martin Passed away peacefully on 8 January 2018, aged 52 years old, after a long illness. Loved son of the Hon. Colin Nicholson CNZM QC and Jeanette Nicholson (both deceased), adored partner of 17 years to Dale and daddy to Leo, loved brother of Ben, Kaya, Ian and Pearl, stepson of Vanessa, and son in law of Graeme and Querida. Ross never gave up, seized every moment, lived by doing. He was larger than life, loud, big hearted and loyal. He was a true original, authentic to the core, and will be sorely missed by many. A celebration of Ross’ life will be held at The North Harbour chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Monday 15 January at 12:30 pm, followed by private cremation.
