With heavy hearts and fond memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Christopher David John Ingham, affectionately known as Chris, on Tuesday, the 8th of July 2025.Chris was a beloved brother to Suzanne and Helen, a devoted father to Patricia, Michelle, and Katherine, and a proud grandfather to Jessica, Michael, Kimberly, Brandon, Steven, Addison, Shayla, and Mackenzie. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Ashton, Pheonix, and Jinx, and a treasured uncle to many.Chris lived life on his own terms, with a coffee in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and a cold beer never too far away. He had a wicked sense of humour that could light up any room and a laugh that will echo in our hearts forever. His stories, jokes, and irreverent charm made him unforgettable to all who knew him.Though he has left this world, his spirit lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the memories shared by his family, and the love that surrounds him still.

It’s hard to put into words what someone like Chris meant to those of us who were lucky enough to be close to him. Chris was, quite simply, one of a kind — fun-loving, caring, generous to a fault, and always ready with a smile or a helping hand. He had that rare gift of making people feel seen and appreciated. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone he'd just met, Chris had a way of making you feel like you mattered. His laughter was contagious, his spirit uplifting, and his heart always open. To spend time with Chris was to experience joy. He had a spark — a light that drew people in and made them want to stay. His stories, his humour, and his genuine interest in others made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. He reminded us not to take life too seriously, to laugh often, and to always make time for those we care about. Losing Chris leaves a space that can’t be filled. But what he gave us — his friendship, his love, and his incredible energy — will stay with us always. We will remember him in the jokes we tell, in the music he loved, in the quiet kindnesses we pass on in his honour. Chris was, and always will be, a true friend. His memory will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to walk part of our journey alongside him. Rest easy, Chris. You will never be forgotten.
