Dear Maurice joined the Parliamentary Spouses club with my tane John in 1999. They enjoyed each other’s company as this was predominantly a group of women partners of MP’s. "Sorry to hear of Maurice passing. Worked with Maurice in 1975 installing and commissioning the Leigh Automatic Telephone Exchange. Maurice was a very talented and committed Technician and I knew he went onto greater technical achievements . He lent me his Pentax camera that year to get some great shots of Heather and my two children (then 2 ) Vicki and Chris. Will always remember being in the Exchange Building and Maurice bringing along hi Tape deck and turning it on to the sound of Cat Stevens "tea for the Tillerman" Also staying at the Bridge house Warlworth four nights a week and at dinner time in restaurant Waitress came to table pen in hand ready to take our order. She was about to read out the options. Maurice interupted with smirk on his face and said " Don't tell me Roast pork ,Roast lamb or roast beef" a running joke for 6 months. Very sorry once again, surely taken to early."
