I was surprised to learn of Warick's cruel illness. He really was a great guy, and obviously will be sadly missed by you all. I am sorry I could not attend the funeral; unfortunately I had commitment that I could not rearrange. I am sure that the funeral created a fitting departure with many friends and family present. I feel sure that your family and grand children will be a comfort and support for you during this very sad time. I discovered the sad news from Denis, and checked the information on the on line NZ Herald Death Notices. I was really shocked by the news and details. I know Denis was also had a commitment on the day of the funeral. I apologise that it has taken so long to contact you. I discovered your Facebook page, but it appeared to be inactive for a number of years, so I did not pursue that option. I tried web searches for phone numbers and addresses, and eventually discovered this tribute page.
