Ethne Bellingham

With profound sadness we announce that Ethne died peacefully on 12th July 2025, at Mercy Hospice. Much loved soulmate and partner of Owen. Loved daughter of Ross and Nola Bellingham (deceased), sister of Lois and Jocelyn; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

At Ethne's request there will be a private cremation followed by a public commemoration and celebration of her life in early August. Details will shortly be advised on this page. 

Special thanks to the staff at the Mercy Hospice, Ponsonby, for their dedication and care for Ethne, her friends and family.

Dearest Ethne the last three years of deep connection, understanding, laughter and love are an enormous gift to me. The sheer courage with which you faced all aspects of treatment are an utter testament to your strength and zest for life. Thanks E for the shared moments, stories, the empathy and the privilege of being friend. You are at peace and loved always. I miss you hugely.
