Alan Henry Wilcox JP (Rtd) Passed away peacefully at Ryman Possum Bourne on 21st June 2025 aged 101. Loved husband of the late Peg, and father of the late Rob, and Chris, and Garth and Chris. Dearly loved grandfather of Leigh and Chris, Brent and Juliana, Simon and Steph and Nicola and Paddy. Great grandfather of Olliver, Freida and Jesse, Hayden, Maddison and Brody, Hamish and Emily. A memorial service will be held at St Peter's in the forest Anglican Church, Bombay at 1.30pm on Saturday 19th of July. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John's Ambulance Service.
Due to steep access & possible weather conditions, guests may attend the service via livestream at the Bombay school hall, where refreshments will be held after the service.

happy memories of cousin Alan. As a child I remember going to the farm in Bombay each time we came from Tauranga to Auckland. The last visit to N.Z. 2020 I had a nice visit with him and we kept in contact via phone or email.. My Grandmother Sarah Lewis and Maryanne Horne were sisters in Tauranga the Harvey family. Peg and Alan always made me feel like family,a sweet couple with lots of love. Memories are gifts we give ourselves. Adrienne Hunchak
Tom and I thoroughly enjoyed our reconnection with Alan last year. When we met we reminisced about family connections with my parents Arnold and Esther Webb. Alan represents the final passing of a great generation.
