To dearest Val, Ian, Tony, Grant and families, My deepest condolences to you all. I have such warm and cherished memories of Bill at Egmont Road and Mokau—his cheeky humour and playful spirit always brought joy to those around him and brought me a lot of joy personally. It was truly special to see his big smile again in January. Thinking of you all and hoping your memories bring some comfort to you at this difficult time. RIP Bill. Lots of love, Rebecca x
Deepest sympathy Val and family. Sorry can’t make the memorial but will be watching live stream.
Heartfelt condolences to Val, Ian, Tony, Grant & their families during these sad times. Bill, a cheeky soul, a mischievous sparkle in his eye, always made you feel welcome. You will be missed and remembered with a smile. Forever in my heart Rest in love Bill Love Bridget
Bill my God Father, Thank you for everything you did for me, from the chicken farm to Egmont rd. I know I was a pain asking a hundred questions, but you always smiled. Then came Mokau, The Webster, wills caravan from the beach racers to BBQs and a few Rums, so many things i could say LOL From our camping, floundering, white baiting, getting Mussels fishing off the beach or heading across the Mokau Bar for a fish, I remember ripping a hook out of your toe, I apologise for that, but you did say rip it out you were a kiwi boke who could fix anything with tape, wire or a bolt we know you spent a lot of time in the Jet boat getting a sun Burt back trying to fix it, but you always smiled and laughed you made my childhood amazing and for that I will forever be grateful to you and Aunty Val RIP Bill, you will be missed by all.
Many great memories of our many times against each other on the bowling mat.
