I am sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. She was often in Judy’s thoughts. Judy Missed her New Plymouth friends and the life we had in Taranaki during the Think Big projects. A close family Irene’s boys excelled at sport. They had a dad enthusiastic at skiing, surfing and in latter years, golf. Irene was there supporting Peter and bringing up a family.
Karl, Stefan and families I am so sorry to hear that your precious Mum and Nana has passed away. I met Irene over forty years ago at Waiwaka tennis club and that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship for Irene, Judy, Sheryl and I. We had so much fun especially those many years we went to Auckland for the ATP Tennis. Irene was always lovely and sparkly and definitely the 'style queen' when we went shopping! So much joy and laughter shared with Irene and I will always treasure all the fabulous memories. Rest in Peace Irene, you will always be remembered.xx Jane Grimes
To Karl,Stefan and Families I was so sorry to hear of your lovely Mother’s passing. a Family meant a lot to Irene and she was very proud of you all. Irene also loved being part of a large family of sisters and her one and only brother. It was a privilege for me to be Irene and Peter’s friend for over forty years. We had many weekends away at the At the ASB Classic, hours of Tennis, watching, shopping,Friendships, along with just the pure enjoyment of being with like-minded people doing what you love. Making memories which only meant something to us. The Love and Laughhpter was boundless. Thank you and Bless you Irene
Fly High Irene, Peter will welcome you with open arms. We spent many years on Mt Taranaki which is where we met you and Peter and the boys skiing our hearts out. Great memories and then years later we would meet on the street somewhere and always have a good catch up chat before going separate ways. RIP lovely lady 🤗🤗
Very sorry to read of Irene’s passing. A lovely lady. Fond memories of our Canadian skiing holiday & times up the mountain back in the day. Thinking of you all.
