On behalf of the PFH staff, I would like to extend our condolences to Arthur’s family and friends. It was truely a pleasure to care for Arthur and I had the privilege of knowing him for 5 years. I fondly remember our conversations and the occasional jokes he would make. A few things the staff loved to talk about with him were his plants in his room,-how to care for them and successfully propagate them. Snacks he had stowed away - cup noodles and endless fruit bags. He liked to watch singing talent shows on his phone and of course the news on television. He’d leave the dining room early after lunch to read the lounge newspaper before anyone else got to it! When his appetite started to diminish, I told him I was getting Mochi for the residents but I only had him in mind since I knew he loved the red bean Mochi. It bought me joy to see him still have an appetite for sweet foods. I remember Arthur every time I walk past the room in which he stayed at PFH. May he remain in Gods memory and in our hearts. -RN Hannah
