On 20 July 2025, Jim passed away at home in Pāpāmoa. Dearly loved husband of Shirleyanne and treasured father and father-in-law of Justine; Vanessa and Shane; Hayley and Jaco. Loved grandad of his grandchildren. Loved brother of Peter.
A Memorial Service to celebrate and remember Jim, will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, 24 July 2025, at Legacy Funerals Pāpāmoa, 53 Te Okuroa Drive, Pāpāmoa.

Jim's dedication to the Association was so appreciated - his time, skills, knowledge and ongoing efforts over the years, particularly in his role as Treasurer/Secretary. Always ready for an interesting chat, Jim will also be missed by all his friends and neighbours in his lakeside community.
