What a shock to learn of Grahams passing. I remember him very well - Graham, Sue and Richard lived just down at the end of my street, and Richard and I were good mates. When Graham had Graham Dickson Motorcycles down in Manukau Road, Richard and I were always there playing, and when we weren't there, we were either out with Graham in the Holden ute he had, or we were having waterfights in the front yard with Graham - He used to sneak up behind us and get us every time! Fond memories, and although it has been many many years since I have seen Graham or Richard, I've never forgotten them and the fun times we all shared. My heartfelt condolances go to Richard and Fern.

Sorry to read Graham had passed away. I was with him in 1965 in Europe. We had a great time. He was the first privateer home in both East and West German Grands Prix. He finished 8th in both of them. He had a bright yellow helmet with two black kiwis - the German announcer got very excited on one lap and called out, "hier kommt Dickson mit zwei Kiwis" When there was a gap in the racing we went back to base in Mayen and stayed with the Ohlischlager family. I was also from Paeroa, as was Graham, and spotted him driving his van in London and he was off to Germany at the beginning of the next week. He asked me if I'd like to come so I resigned from my teaching position and joined him. Sorry I missed his funeral but didn't know had passed away until I saw it in the Herald this morning.
