Very sorry I couldn't be there for the funeral. Val and Brian were wonderful, caring, empathetic servants of Christ and poured their love into the lives of those children placed with them at Hutt Rd. I admired greatly Val for her compassion, common sense and persistence.

Val the laughs in letting me help look after you it was an honor what a wonderful lady you were when I came those mornings and evenings you made me feel very welcome in your home given the circumstances. I’m saddened but happy to hear you have been called home and now our angel with Jesus. Bless you Val Love and hugs to Brian and your grown up kiddos that I got to know too xx
