I’m Cheridahs daughter who was Marks cousin through Dulce- Muriel’s sister.. My condolences at the loss of your beloved, Mark. I remember visiting Stan and Muriel when they were in Auckland. That was probably the first time I met Mark. The next time was at a cousy reunion in Taupo a few years ago . We had a great chat at a cafe and I was looking forward to reconnecting at another reunion. Thank you Jill for sharing the letter he wrote about his experience in Australia. He was an exceptional man and gave so much to all his family understanding the preciousnessof life. He will be greatly missed.

I would like to pay tribute to Mark. I have known Mark ever since he and Roseanne got together. Over the years my husband and I have shared many nights together with Mark and Roseanne at various locations. Roseanne and I have been friends ever since we were at Northcote Intermediate school. Mark rang me on Monday night as arranged and we chatted about the past , his devotion to Roseanne and our friendship spanning all those years. He talked about how he met Roseanne at Surf Side in Milford and how he had already planned his OE to Australia at that stage. They met up later and that was the beginning of a long and loving relationship, marriage and children. He truely was a wonderful husband, father and friend.My love and thoughts goes out to Roseanne and family. Rest in Peace Mark.
