Peacefully surrounded by her children at Brooklands Rest Home on Tuesday, 22 July 2025 aged 81. Loved wife of the late Cliff. Cherished Mum of Deb & Pete, Tracy & Clarke, Jason & Sana, Bryce & Gabrielle, and Maree & Mark. Beloved Nana of Elisha, Harrison; Lilith, Bebe; Aaliyah, Jordan; Lucas; Jayden, Kyle, Ella; Madison, West; Candyce (dec), and Carlos. Great Nana of Sequoia, Cooper and, Aurora. Loved Daughter of the late Beryl & Charlie. Sister of Phil, and David (dec).

A service to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Friday 25 July 2025 at 10:30am.

I was a work colleague of Ruths at Chubb/ACM. She was the most delightful lady to work with. She was always punctual and precise in all operations of the company. We were thrilled when Ruth and Cliff visited us in Blenheim on their tour of the South Island in 2014. Kindest regards to her loving family. Sharon Fowles and Gary Hooper
