Deepest sympathy to Jan, Aaron and Antoinette and all the family on this sad day. So many memories of times spent together at Carlaw Park, Stanley St, the Referees Club rooms, picnics, and your home when we were little that I still cherish. Thank you both for being a great friend to my Dad, Russell (Digger) Harris even after they stopped being Referees, you were both always there for him. I will always remember Neville as a quiet gentle man with a lovely smile. He may be gone from sight but never from mind, may he rest in love.
Much love and condolences to the Kesha family and those close. Appreciate everything Nev has done for our great game. On a personal note, Nev had given me a few assessments in my time as a referee and he was always so warmly constructive 😂 (IYKYK) he will be missed sorely by many. RIL Neville Kesha 🕊️🫶

As Executive Officer of the NSWRL Referees Association I pass on our deepest sympathies to Neville's family, colleagues and friends from all aspects of Rugby League in Australia where Nev was always a welcomed visitor and indeed international referee.
I send my condolences to Jan and family for your very sad loss. I remember him with great fondness when sharing a chat at the Referees Club in Parnell after a game at Carlaw or back at the Manukau Rugby Club. Rest in Peace dear friend. Arohanui, Nadine and whanau.
I first met Nev some twenty-odd years ago, when his and Jan’s daughter, Antoinette, introduced me to her family. Over the years since, Nev became not only my father-in-law but a good friend, whose opinions and advice I valued. We didn’t always agree, especially when it came to the delicate matter of whether the Warriors (his favourite) or the Storm (mine) would win the next time they met on the field, but Nev always accepted my ribbing in good humour, like the true gentleman that he was. Nev will be missed by his family and friends, and I will remember him as a good mate, never to be forgotten. Deepest condolences to Jan, Antoinette & Jordan, Aaron & Petrece, Jacob, Dayna and Ethan. — Derek F.
Fondest memories of a fellow referee with whom I spent many good times. Stanley St., our own rooms at Carlaw Park Lane, buck picnics, Paketoa, etc. Always a gentleman, unflappable on the field, respected by players and spectators alike. We might pass but memories last. To Jan, my sincerest condolences.
