Lorraine Patricia Middleton

4 October 194430 July 2025

In navy hues and floral bloom,

She lit up every crowded room.

A glass of wine, a hearty cheer,

She made the best of every year.

Waihaha waves, the summer sun,

Where family gathered, hearts as one.

She stirred the pots with loving grace,

And made her home a sacred place.

Bright cyclamen by her door,

With colors we still can’t ignore.

Much like her laugh, bold and bright,

A beacon of love, a guiding light.

She taught us joy, she taught us care,

In every dish, in how she’d share.

Her stories, hugs, the way she’d glow

Those are the things we’ll always know.

So raise a glass, let memories flow,

Of Lorraine, who helped us all to grow.

Though she has sailed to skies above,

She leaves behind her endless love.

Sorry to hear of your passing. You were our neighbour and my mums good friend for many years. You were a lovely person always kind with a welcoming smile. I still make your salmon pate recipe to this day. Love to your family and sorry for your loss. Dianne Daley (Spain)
