Hansen, Gay Lynette 3 July 1947 – 31 July 2025. Passed away at Whangarei Hospital, aged 78 years. Dearly beloved wife of Gary. Loved mother of Joanne. Loved sister of Shona and Brother in law Alan, and Brother Terry. Sister in law of Marion, Dale & Chris, and Anne & Piers.
Goodbye my darling. We knew the time was coming, when we must say goodbye. Our hearts are filled with sadness, but memories never die.
A service for Gay will be held at the chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals, 17 Western Hills Drive, Whau Valley, Whangarei on Tuesday 5th August 2025 at 10:30am, followed by a private cremation. My sincere Sympathy to you Gary ,and family. Gay was a very Kind and caring Lady, and I am saddened to hear of her passing. I will never forget her incredible kindness to my Mum, Betty Mayo. She also showed the same wonderful friendship to me, and I am grateful and privileged to have known her. Rest in Peace Gay.
