Donald Fraser lived a life filled with creativity, kindness, and quiet generosity. A gifted maker and teacher, he took joy in creating beautiful things and sharing his knowledge with others.
He gave his time freely, whether volunteering at the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary, supporting St Stephen’s Church, or simply being there when needed. His gentle presence and knowledge will be missed by many.
Don is remembered with love by Margaret Fraser and many friends and relatives across New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at St Stephens Community Church, 61 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson on Monday, August 5, 2025 at 1pm . All are welcome.

Tributes
I will miss a gentle friendly neighbor, sharing a beer on his beautifully built seats, catching up for a gossip in the drive or garden, and hearing exploits of his Margaret and family. He introduced me to the Brook, and was rightfully so proud of the recemt kiwi release, and all the work he participated in. Bless you Don.
