Terribly sad to hear that Jeanette's time on this earth has come to an end at such a young age. My heart goes out to you Ian and your family at this time and I do hope you can cope in the coming weeks. We were both kindergarten teachers and for a time we lived in the same street in Palmerston North ( Argyle Avenue). You were very kind and helpful to me and we have since kept in touch over the years at Christmas time. Enjoyed meeting up with you both when you came up our way. Arohanui, stay strong.
Dear Ian, and family. We were so terribly sad to hear of Jeanette's passing from my cousin in Palmerston North who knew Jeanette and I had been friends and kept in touch. She was way too young to die but she is with her saviour now, so she is in the best of care. I feel for your loss, your soul mate, firend and wife. I hope you are cared for and give yourself time to heal from her passing. She was a kind, caring person. Much love Aynsley and Dennis Parker
So wish I could have known you better. At first sight I felt privileged and delighted to have met you. Look forward to seeing you in Heaven xxx
To Ian & family, It is with sadness that we heard of Jeanette's passing, We have fond memories of times that we met and conversed, both in Blenheim when we were both living there, as well as here in PN. Jeanette also was a staff member at Redwoodtown Kindy where she taught our son. It was a privilege to spend time with Jeanette when she was in PN hospital for treatment and Brendan was serving as a Chaplain. What remains in our minds is her beautiful smile, positive attitude, warmth of personality, love of music and steadfast faith. Unfortunately we are unable to attend her funeral today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you celebrate Jeanette, honor her and release her to the everlasting, loving arms of her God and our God. 1 Thess. 4:13 "for we grieve but not without hope"
The Palmerston North Christian Leaders Association wishes to express their sincere condolences to Ian and family and the church community of Wesley Methodist, on the passing of Jeanette our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time
