Dad I can’t believe we let you go today. It does not seem real, I don’t want to let you go but I know physically I will never be able to call you, talk to you, cuddle you or be there for you. I will love you forever. Thank you for all you taught me, you made me think, made me tough, but made me love harder than I thought possible and the last 3yrs have shown me how much I can love, hurt, cry and want to fix. I hope you wait for me when I arrive one day and we can be together. But until then, I will live the way you showed me. I will never ever forget you and all you did for me.. I love you xxxxx forever xxx

Such a lovely and funny man. He taught me to double at Bridge and he was unfailingly patient and supportive to us as we approached his skill level. Generous and optimistic. Never a bad word said. All that. He will be missed by many. Steven, Barbara and Jerry Zindel.

Rog. Thank you for being a friend for over 70yrs. I have great memories of the times we experienced together since we met as youngsters in Mosgiel. I will remember you every time I hear a goldfinch sing - a little bird we both loved. Rest easy old friend.
