Tributes

Such sad news to hear of your passing Wi. Aroha and condolences to your whānau. You were always a special, dear friend going back to our QEC days. We always made a point to keep in touch and I loved your unexpected catchup visits over the years right up til 1998 Xmas Day…being the last time before I moved to Aus. Rest in love, dear Wi..

Kia Ora e te whanau a Wi, sending our deepest condolences, Wi lived next door to my mother for many years, he was the best neighbour to her (and vice versa), he was kind, respectful and caring, often he would get her washing in for her and together they shared a wee black cat whose owner had passed. Wi would always great me and often pay a compliment, we loved to hear his music playing and I think he asked for a chair of Mums when she moved out! RIP you beautiful soul 🕊️
