Peacefully at Radius, Thornleigh Park Rest Home on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, aged 93. Dearly loved wife of Ormond. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Michael & Heather, Suzanne & Allan, David & Su and, Robyn & Rob. Loved Granny of Robert, Mark, Morgan, Cameron, Lauren, Eva, Diana, Rebecca and Nick, and Great-Granny of Spencer, Mattios and Primmrose.

A service to celebrate Melva’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Wednesday 13 August 2025 at 2pm.

In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to The St Mary’s Church Restoration Project.
