MENLOVE, Maureen Ellin. Peacefully at Southland Hospice on Wednesday 6th August 2025 aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Reg of almost 60 years. Loving mother and mother in law of Ellen and Peter, Chris and Judi, and Brendon*. Loving Nana to Nathan and Abby, Jordan and Nic, Victoria and Megan. Loving friend of Kaylene. A rosary will be held for Maureen on Sunday 10th August at 5pm at Sacred Heart Church. Maureen’s service will be held at Sacred Heart Church, North Road, Invercargill on Monday 11th August 2025 at 11am, an interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow. Reg and family would like to acknowledge Southland Hospice for their care and ask in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Southland Hospice. So sad to learn that you have lost your beautiful Maureen. We had so much time together over our years in yoga and I appreciated so much that she took over my polytechnic class when we moved away. Our deepest sympathy to you, Reg and all your family. Even though our connection goes back a long way to Central Southland days, it has ben only in recen times that we have got know Maureen better. We will always remember Maureen as a friendly, caring and truly lovely lady. It has been a real priviege and pleasure to know her.
