Funeral service held at Grahams Funeral Chapel Pukekohe
Barbara was a woman who focused on her family & marriage & was able to run a business or 2 with John/Harold to improve the family status & future for them all. Together they showed how to work as a team for the benefit of all the family. This allowed them to send their older children to schools in the pakuranga area for good quality education & by example of how to improve their lives through hard work & team work. Eventually they returned to Pukekohe where they both came from & continued to develop a business or 2 again. This time she was nearer her parents & siblings, Her stories of her background & early days of schooling (walking on stoney roads in all weather) & their life at the Wesley College farm were fascinating to me . Maybe that is where she learnt to be so resilient & appreciated what was accomplished by working ""together", Bye Barb nice knowing you. You are already missed so much. Sheryn Shadbolt.
Sending lots of love to Barbara’s family today. Such a special lady who we will miss seeing at family gatherings. Will be thinking of you all. Love the Yeoman Family
