Surrounded by family, at Taranaki Base Hospital on Friday, 8 August 2025, aged 71. Dearly loved husband of the late Kathleen. Cherished father and father-in-law of Ana Moriarty & Chris Ermerins, Paul Moriarty & Emily Batchelor, and Louise Moriarty & James Dawes. Treasured Grandad of Molly and Mia.

A service to celebrate Tim's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Friday 15 August 2025 at 10.30am.

In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice Taranaki.

We did enjoy Tim's regular visits to Summerset for his game of pool with Ivan, followed by a roast meal and a good catch-up. We will miss Tim heaps but he's now at peace with Kathleen.

So sorry to read of Mr Moriarty's passing. He taught both the boys at Puketapu Primary School in fact my eldest son played him in one of the school productions.we would bump into each other at supermarket often and 1st thing he would ask was after the boys.
