David lived his life well. A life to be celebrated. He was loved and respected by many. Rest in Peace, David.

David was always such a character. When he was at Te Atatu Baptist we used to have lively debates about politics and the Springbok tour in particular. I have vivid memories of one of these discussions in the Church hall. When David got cornered he would just talk and talk. It was great to catch up with David and Judy in recent years even if sad to see David's deterioration due to dementia. But they always showed up at the reunion events I organised.
