Tributes

Sending so much love to the Whanau, we absolutely adored Aunty Aroha. The support she and her beautiful girls gave to us when my mum passed will never be forgotten. We are sorry we couldn’t make it there to celebrate her life, but got to watch from home, what a beautiful way to say goodbye. Love to you all

Nana...I met dear sqeet, beautiful Nana through her granddaughter, Andrea. I was an exchange student in New Zealand (from Canada) in the year 2000. I went to school with Andrea and instantly formed an unbreakable bond. Andrea introduced me to Nana, whom I absolutely fell in love with. Nana was an incredible chosen Grandma to me. So warm and welcoming. Nana...there hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought about you, Andrea and the times we spent together, laughing, cuddling and most importantly loving. You are missed, but through us you will live on! You hold a huge part of my heart and I am forever grateful for you and the memories we made together. Te Aroha Tino Nui

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Aroha. Every visit was with a beaming smile. She always would say to me be grateful and be happy. It's the simple things in life. Her love for her cats. My babies she said. She always thanked me and we had a big hug. Lovely chats, we had laughs and family was her world. One of my special clients. Rest in peace beautiful Aroha. Felicity
