Glen Wow, what a journey we have been on the last few months - While it has been an absolute honor to help you prepare for leaving your family behind, you knew I wasn't blessed with an abundance of patience and didn't really need to test what little I have quite so often. But then again, why change the habits of a lifetime and I guess that was a big brother privilege lol. to Cushla, Vicky and Kimberly I will forever be indebted to you ladies for the love, care and dedication you gave into making sure that my brother maintained the best quality of life possible, right until the end. Your ability to make him feel at ease, to keep the house calm, the medication flowing and a smile on your face 24/7 while your own hearts were breaking is a true testament to your nature. Thank you is so insufficient; it almost feels insulting because I know all of your efforts were given with love and not with expectations of any thanks. Stand tall and be proud ladies, job well done. love Trish AKA Glens favorite sister and Aunty Bitch xoxo
Glen, Thankyou from the bottom of my heart! For showing my darling friend Cushla unconditional love for over 30 years for always making the time to spend with me when I came down for a visit, taking us to the hot pools, letting us stay on your caravan and for selling me my first ever car - a 1976 Toyota Corolla station wagon For visiting when I had my son in 1994, and going to his first birthday, for coming up and attending my wedding in 2003 for giving me so many beautiful Nieces and a Nephew that I love with all my heart For being so humble, hardworking, loyal and honest And for so many other things - you will always live on in my heart - I treasure the times we spent together especially in the 90’s - remember Netball 😂 that was a fun time and loads of adventures. I love you and I promise to be there always for Cushla and your babies and grandbabies! I really wish the universe aligned and I got to come down to see you before you passed, but it wasn’t meant to be! This photo is of you, Shorty and Me in 1995 at my son Kanes first birthday in Ellerslie! You will be missed so much! Rest in eternal love Glen! I know you’ll be watching over us all from above Gone but never forgotten my friend🪽🌹🫶 Debbz
